The garden itself is not much except that it has a good view of the whole harbour of Valletta. From the gerden one can take a very modern lift down to the water front and pier where ferries to the 3 cities depart.

Any days when we visited Valletta whilst on holiday we always made the Gardens our first stopping point. Its nice to what's happening in Grand Harbour and which cruise ships are in,and not to forget the gardens themselves and the superb views. The little coffee shop has been there for many years and is a must for people watching and is quiet and tranquil in the heart of bustling Valletta.

Well kept gardens with historical information, statues and sculpture and a good cafe. Spent several pleasant hours at this spot. You can access it or leave it by lift or a staircase of approx 280 steps.

There's a great outlook over the grand harbour from here and the well-introduced event of the firing of the mid-day gun should not be missed.
