Fascinating insight into the control of the war as it affected Malta - the chart rooms, offices, command centres etc. seem to bring it all to life, it's almost as if the occupants were only there last week. Our guide was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable and added so much to the experience - don't even consider going around without one (it's included in your ticket price). More areas are being excavated and will open later this year.

Thank you Jerseyboy49.
With your help, leaving this kind of comments and votes, we are a step closer to our target, the entire restoration of the Lascaris War Rooms that should be finished by this year.

The War Rooms in the rock of the Lascaris quarter are not so extensive as those in London, but the presentation by the guides is top; very lively. Great human touch and educational, too.

Very knowledgable guides bought the rooms to life; having someone to show you around and explain is essential to properly appreciating the rooms

That is what we do in our sites, making us different than all the other museums around the island, and hopefully getting you involved into our projects and having a better experience than only roaming around.

Truly a hidden treasure tucked away under the walls of Valletta! We didn't know what to expect as this was our first trip to Malta and first day out here. However we were amazed by the attention to detail, knowledge and genuine enthusiasm of everyone we met. Whether staff or volunteers - it is now easy to see how the Maltese people have won the respect of the world over many centuries - not just during WW2 when they suffered so dreadfully yet stayed positive and determined to pull through.
Having visited many museums over the years, I can truly say that every one visited on Malta has exceeded our expectations and long may they continue - please support the ongoing restoration and thank you Maltese People for making our holiday so enjoyable as well as educational!

Thank you Elaine L for visiting other of our sites and for giving us an explendid feed-back.
All members of our staff are really concerned about the important role Malta had played through History, and we try to show this with passion and knowledge to each and every visitor coming through the doors of our sites.

We have already started the restoration works, and by the second half of this year, they should be ready for the opening of the Military Heritage Park. So, please, do come back whenever you want.
