A tiny (maybe 10 tables in total), nicely decorated restaurant in the heart of Valletta, with an excellent selection of Mediterranean and Maltese food.
The starters are around 7-10 Euros and one feeds easily two, like the antipasto of salami and cheeses (including the tiny, locally produced Gozo peppered sheep cheeses (ġbejniet) which are amazing!).
Also featured are a number of well prepared pasta dishes (around 10-12 Euros) as well as the abundant meat dishes (among which area the lamb shank and Maltese pork belly) which are around 15-20 Euros.
Service is professional and friendly, and the bill, including water and two glasses of nice local Maltese wine and coffee, is under 60 Euros for two. Kitchen closes at 11pm and is open for lunch too.
Definitely one of the best options in Valletta for quality, price and service.
