“Great Selection of Seafood”
Reviewed December 20, 2012

I was slightly underwhelmed by the menu when I first came across it however when we got into the restaurant I was quite impressed by the large selection of specials as well as fresh fish. The menu was very helpfully explained by the waitress. I had the lobster fettucine which was excellent, the lobster was very well done, not overcooked and chewy like I've had in other places. Very generous portion. However, my partner had the black salmon tortellini which he found too salty accompanied by a sauce that was too bland.

“Best fish ever?”
Reviewed December 9, 2012

I was able to select the rock fish (a curious looking deep sea monster) from the day's catch, after recommendations from the waitress. For only 19 euros this was turned into a heavenly baked dish with a taste of fennel among others. It could very well be the best fish I've eaten.
It took a while to prepare, but that didn't matter as in the meantime I was wolfing down a huge serving of minestrone for a "starter". While the fish was marvellous, the soup wasn't quite that fantastic, though still good. Maybe it had been cooking a bit long?
Anyways: great service, and an enjoyable experience.

“Very good food and good service”
Reviewed November 28, 2012

We had a very enjoyable meal here in a quiet restaurant just off the main square. A concise but varied menu, we both had stuffed mushrooms to start, beef olives and the tuna for main courses. very generous portions and well cooked and presented. We had a bit of a long wait for the main course but it was worth it when we arrived. There was only one lady doing both waitress and bar service so she was a bit rushed off her feet but coped well. At 50 Euros for 2 courses wine and water it was reasonable value.

Would definitely recommend a visit

“Small but welcoming”
Reviewed November 28, 2012

Aaron brings the same dedication and enthusiasm to his cooking in the restaurant that he brings to his TV programmes. The restaurant is small and cosy with back ground music that is not loud and 50's dated. The menu is short but varied and the wine list prices not inflated at all. So one can have a reasonably enjoyable evening without breaking the bank.

“Excellent food and service”
Reviewed November 21, 2012

I have been to Aaron's on a quite a few occasions and have found both the food as well as service to be of very high standards.

The interior design and service are a good accompaniment to the exquisite dishes that Chef patron Aaron prepares from his varied menu. The wine list is also varied, listing a very good selection of wines from all over the world.

Lately we also organised a stand-up party for our staff at Aaron's who once again prepared for us a varied selection of finger food and choice of pasta.

So far we have always received good value for our money at Aarons and will continue to visit him whenever we are in the City.
