Maybe, just maybe, one of the finest restaurants in Malta, and even further afield.
We frequently dine out, and this restaurant in the majestic Phoenicia Hotel, just outside the battlements of Valletta, is compact. It is pointless to go through each dish, but after repeated visits, the restaurant has failed to disappoint, either in terms of service, or ambience, or quality of food.
Not a cheap place to go to (expect a bill approaching Eur 150 for two if a full 3-course meal with apperitifs and liqueurs and coffee to finish is taken), but as a dinig experience, it really is difficult to beat.
