Excellent food and good Maltese wine, and very nice service, who really remember you when you return - as I have done agan and again.

“Amazed! Very very good+++++”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 11, 2012

It's not such a fancy restaurant, it's very classic more like a vintage feeling. We went for Lunch, food was "to die for!!!" it's typical Maltese made for food Lovers from people with a passion for food.
I found it cool the menu was on a chalk board just the title of each dish but then you get to hear with what it's made of and how it's cooked.

“Simply excellent”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 9, 2012

Unfortunately, we were not able to get a table to have dinner on a tuesday night (book ahead!), but we came back for the famous cassata siciliana (cake) , coffee and local schnapps, as well as a long chat with the friendly owner. HIghly recommended!

“Just lovely”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 24, 2012 via mobile

Ate there last night. Did not make reservations (you should really do that) but got a nice table anyway. A gorgious, creamy risotto and perhaps somewhat dry penne rubino as starters, followed up by beautiful tuna for main course. Tuna was great, little bit cold but that might be Malta style. Simple, honest food of good quality. With a nice Nero D'Avolo to accompany dinner we ended up around the €87 mark for two people. The owner and his daughter (we think she is anyway) were absolutely charming and deservedly proud of their restaurant. A small little gem, will go back.
