had two week holiday at the waterfront. staff great helpful polite and friendley. dining room staff fantastic could not be more helpful .stayed in sea view room clean and tidy each day. would recomend this hotel to anybody.use the open top busses to see island and gozo. if going to gozo do not buy transport to ferry with bus ticket mini bus downright dangerous. get bus from sliema ferry to gozo ferry cheap at 1.50 euros.never stopped the whole two weeks what a wonderful island and people thank you

having been to malta many times and seeing this hotel, I thought I'd stay there this time (after a disaster at another hotel in Sliema).
First impressions...clean,airy,helpful friendly staff. Pleasant reception area, bar and cafe.
The room was spotless, roomy and bright, with an excellent view of the harbour area and Valletta. Nice, large balcony to enjoy sunbathing or an evening drink. Free electronic safe. Clean, well lit bathroom. Good quality picture on the TV with several English language channels, well stocked fridge/mini-bar at surprisingly reasonable prices.
Cleaned everyday to a high standard.
Food in the restaurant (for breakfast anyway) was excellent. The quality and choice was second to none. The staff were great, and so were the views across the water.
Definately my choice of hotel when I next visit wonderful Malta.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel was exceptionally clean. Good location right on the waterfront. The only downside is the food. Not that it is bad just very mediocre. Certainly room for improvement. I would still recommend this hotel to anyone who asked.

Booked the hotel after reading reviews and was not disappointed. We asked for a quiet room as others had said there was noise from the road and were located at the rear overlooking the courtyard. Okay the views don't match a sea view but for a short break in winter the peace and quiet outweighs the view. Rooms have a safe which is free.
The hotel is clean and comfotable and the staff were friendly and always willing to assist with any requests.
We were on a B8B board and the buffet breakfast is plenty to set you up for a day's sight seeing. Also guests on a B&B basis could have the buffet dinner for 20 Euros per couple! The choice and quality were excellent and local wine (very palatable) was less than 8 Euros per bottle.
How often can you stay at a hotel where the bar prices (including teas and coffees) are
the same as outside. One improvement would be tea/coffee making facilities in the room.
The location was excellent for access to Sliems's facilities and restaurants which are all reasonably priced and good quality. For something special try Ti'Kris restaurant.
overall highly recommended.

Stayed at the Waterfront Hotel for a couple of nights in January on business, and was very impressed with the level of Staff in the hotel. Arrived very late (after midnight) and was greeted with a friendly smile and checked in swiftly, i also had a lot of equipment with me for work over 100kg and the porters loaded and unloaded this for me throughout my stay from the left luggage.

The room was nice and had a view of the marina/harbour where excursions can be booked, also had a mini bar and air con, actually had the heating on as it was rather chilly. TV had various sattelite channels.

Was booked on a half boared basis (around 50euro special for jan) Breakfast and dinner was a standard buffet no complaints, but as with all buffet could get a bit tiresome over a time. There is a cafe/diner attached to the hotel which does pasta/pizza as well.

WIFI is available in the hotel (chargeable) and ther is a pool and terrace on the roof which was closed open april till oct i think.

Wouls definetly return
