Just returned from all inclusive week at hotel plevna. Basically the hotel is very clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. It is in a great position especially if you like shopping! We are not fussy people and dont expect too much for what we paid but do have some constructive critisism...a little more variety of food, plates not so hot, food hotter, more air con in the dining room and tv area, coffee supposed to be available till 11.30 so leave coffee machine until then or purchase another one, food at lido really good best meal of the day!!! Sunday really busy as locals use lido but rest of the week good. Could be a great hotel if a little more attention to detail was applied. But overall still enjoyed holiday and Malta is lovely.

Room Tip: Room 502 corner room at the top but with 2 windows and a sea view.

We spent ten days at Plevna hotel in July/August. The hotel is in a superb location 200m from both the beach, the largest shopping mall on the island and the local shops! Although the rooms are basic, any problems are fixed as soon as reported. The food in the hotel is enjoyable with plenty of variance. If you are AI the food down at the pool (Dinner time) is fantastic! The staff at the hotel could have been nicer and are always checking whether you are okay (Especially Charles). In all a brilliant hotel and definitely great value!

Only small critisum is the use of the Lido at the weekends. The Lido is open to the public so can get particulary busy at weekends for obvious reason. To avoid this you simply have to plan your holiday and ensure if you go the Lido on a weekend you are early or simply make other plans on weekends

Thanks

Room Tip: We stayed in 503 and 506. Both rooms have balcony with out a sea view. 506 the better of the two roo...

We’ve spent a week on all inclusive construction in the hotel. We were satisfied with almost everything: Plevna is a fair three stars hotel. (Don’t expect 5 stars facilities if you pay for 3.) Staff is extremely nice and helpful (especially Magdalena), rooms are clean and comfortable, the variety and quality of food are convenient. We have enjoyed the services of the Beach Club, too.

The location of the hotel is favourable for people who prefer silence to noisy spectacles, and places like bars, discos etc. when they’d like to relax or sleep, but they are able to reach the most interesting places of the town in some minutes, if they decide to walk at the seaside, to enjoy the nice scenery or to do some shopping.
On the other hand we were not satisfied with the obsolete sanitary equipment in our bathroom. It is high time to change them…

Excellent location for shops restaurants and bars, staff helpful and very friendly (especially Charles) Pool area is lovely. A bit tight on the all inclusive deal. i.e half pints instead of pints. Glass of water and not a bottle of water by pool. Food is average. Food service area is narrow and easily gets overrun. Overall very good all things considered. Would go back to Plevna, no hesitation.

We have just come back from our holiday visiting relatives and on reading a few reviews I was sceptical but the hotel was not what people have said!

Granted the place is a bit tired but the hotel was very clean, staff are very friendly and good at there jobs and the breakfast was excellent! The pool on the sea front was fantastic also.

As for the Italian students if there were any we didn't see them.It was very quiet in the day and night.

Great location in sliema you are close to everything!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Plevna hotel!!

I have to disagree with a few of the revues. We were located opposite a lift and it was no problem. There were Italian students who were not a problem. Yes the hotel is tired but very clean. The staff are brilliant, the bar is very poor but because of the great location there are many good places to go. I do find it strange that there is such a great difference in what some agents charge for the accomodation, so i would suggest people shop around. Finally, Yes! We would stay there again and look forward to it. We received what we paid for and thoroughly enjoyed our holiday so thank you Plevna Hotel
