We took an open top bus trip around the North of the island which if you stay on the Hopon Hop off will take 3 hours.
We got off at Medina and so glad we did as was a beautiful city and had a great lunch at the Fontanella Tea garden which has a terrace overlooking Malta for miles.
Although it was a hot sunny day, can get quite windy on top.

What a horrible company.. After booking a transfer, both ways from Airport, we met with the Rep the next morning upon arrival, and was told our pickup time and location. They failed to pick us up at the agreed Hotel and went to wrong pickup destination. Company refused to sort out another taxi to airport, and insisted they did nothing wrong We had to hire a private taxi to take us to airport after already paying for transfer. Overall company and reps are useless, and I would not recommend using them anywhere in Malta. DO NOT USE!!!!!

We really do not have much positive to say. Without thinking too much we paid 34 euros for 2 days - North and South tours. Such a regret. You’d be better off buying 35€ pass for one week or 20€ for 12 trips if you know where you want to go.
The only good thing that these buses follow their schedules and most of the time you can find a seat. If you want to see the island there are better and cheaper ways to do so

We took the blue route around the island. It was brilliant getting around the different towns. Only downside, buses could do with running longer, we ran out of time and couldn't go to 2 towns we wanted to see and didn't want to pay another 20 euros each to do it another day.

Visit to Malta after 30+ years. Very busy place but lots to see especially history. A must is the Malta Experience. Tells the history of the island up until the British left and it became a Republic. People still very friendly. Roads are still chaotic but buses are very good value. Stayed in Saliema very vibrant and full of life. Good place to get the ferry to Valletta. Well worth a visit
