“Avoid unless you just want a drink”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 23, 2013

We found this place based on a glowing advertorial in a local tourist guide. Particularly went due to their rabbit which was highlighted in the review. Obviously it's fairly recently been converted from a wild west themed place, doesn't seem like much has been replaced yet apart from the menus and signage on the front.

A good selection of wine - the Carravagio was very good - and friendly service but the food was dreadful. The rabbit was tough and am fairly sure the sauce was from a packet. The fish was better but overcooked. Salad was offered from the salad bar but it all looked worse for wear. The one redeeming feature on the food was our first taste of the local 'baked potatoes' which are sliced and baked with fennel seeds. Tasty.

Would not recommend eating here.

“Never disappoints”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 14, 2013

Been here a couple of times, last time was on a Sunday, we had a rib eye for me and a fillet for him , both meats were served rare as requested, could have been a bit less cooked but still very good quality. The salad bad offers a vast range and is free and all you can eat with any main course, again of superior quality and meant we did not need to order a separate starter! the roasted potates were also lovely and portions too generous! Staff was accomodating and attentive and value for money is great! A perfect place if you want to eat out with no fuss but still have great food and service!

“A quick lunch”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 11, 2013

Had fish soup, a Maltese cold dish and pizza with wine for less than 30euro and was pleasant. Only minus are the corridor to the toilets that is scruffy.
