Friends took us to this little gem in Rabat last Saturday night and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of getting away from the crowds in the Maltese coastal towns and settling for a quiter affair in Rabat. The menu (€ 25) is very good value, cnsidering you can choose whatever you want from the a la carte. All four of us enjoyed a variety of starters and my giant tortellini came in as everybody's favourite. We all decided on Fillet of Beef for main course, and I am happy to say every piece of meat came in cooked to everyone's taste (2x well done, 1x medium and 1x rare/ medium) and in considerable size. Throughout the evening, the service was friendly and attentive without becoming overbearing. The place itself has some excellent features (the ceiling and areas not painted or covered in wallpaper), but the colour chosen for the in my opinion unnecessay wallpaper is questionable to say the least. Would we come back? Definitely!!
