I would like to compare Mosta dome to St.Paul's Cathedral in London. How you may ask?
Well, besides they both have massive domes, during world war two, both had a bomb dumped through their domes, with a difference, where at St.Paul's it blew up and damage was done, but not to a great extent, thanks to the brilliant architect Christopher Wren. The one in Mosta never did blow up and the bomb is still inside the church (defused) as a memory of that event.Go take a look.

Closed during mid-day, so go early or late - but you must go. As you walk through the doors, the beauty just hits you. Take a seat and look around. From the spectacular ceiling, paintings on the walls and the religious artifacts, its all magnificent. Highly recommended.

THE BIG PROBLEM WITH THIS CHURCH IS THAT IT ONLY OPEN AT CERTAIN TIMES! You would very easy not get in. It is open from 9.00 - 11.45 ans then from 3.00 - 5.00 pm. So if you go between these times you will not gain access. So plan ahead. Once inside the church the it is so beautiful that you could just sit and look around you at the wonderful sites inside. Well worth a visit. This church is very unique.
