The trattoria retains is position as a reliable eatery in Mdina the old capital of Malta. As a must see Mdina is a walled town which definitely should be on one’s agenda when visiting the island. An early start will avoid the crowds of tourists who descend on Mdina later on in the morning. If you intend to have lunch then it is advisable to book before you start the tour as towards lunch time it may be booked out. We took some French friends after our visit and I can comment favourably on the ambiance, food and service. Definitely worth trying.
