“Great mannequins!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 26, 2013

We stopped here on our last day because we hadn't seen much history of the knights during our visit. It was okay. Wonderful mannequins. Staff was friendly. The recordings and lights didn't work quite right -- the lights would dim before we got to the right recording and we listened to some recordings more than once, which likely means we missed some. Our frustration made the whole experience less fun.

“Interesting but...”

It really does give you a look at the history of this small nation. However its getting a little tired and the head phones don't always seem to work. It has to be seen but It needs a bit of a face lift.

“Informative , interesting .”

At 5 euros entry found this a very cheap and interesting way to learn of Malta's history , the knights who built most of the cities and defended the island for many centuries
A ten minute film with headphones in all languages was followed by a very realistic waxworks display of scenes from the past . This was set in a walk through the ancient gunpowder vaults of the city and again accompanied by sounds and commentary of what was depicted .Very enjoyable 20 /30 mins. Show , and should add , staff dressed in typical costumes of the times , one of the best I thought of many attractions in the old city .

Really an excellent description of past times in Malta and even more interesting if you have already visited other maltese sites as it repeats differently the history of Malta.Great visit for a wonderful city "Mdina".Less than an hour for the visit but we spent well over 2 hours walking around Mdina.
