The Medina Restaurant is nestled in the silent city of Mdina- a old limestone walled city. The setting is an old Maltese limestone building, with a covered courtyard for warm weather seating, a fire warmed lounge, and several dining rooms. The decor is lovely and one has to look closely to see how the modern lighting has been added unobtrusively to the ancient stone walls. The food was delicious! Our fish entrees were perfectly prepared, the starters innovative and also fabulous. I made reservations via email with Noel and he was very accommodating and helpful. Our evening at the Medina was by far the best meal on our trip- We loved Malta, will return to learn more about the history and every trip will include a stop at The Medina Restaurant. Cannot recommend it enough!
