Mdina itself was a beautiful place but the highlight had to be Palazzo Falson. Our young guide to the museum (Phoebe) was truly enthusiastic and explained evrything to us. Her passion for the place was inspiring and her knowledge was incredible. Taking us from the lovely courtyard through to the lower floor she described all the artefacts and their uses then told us to "Enjoy the rest of the house, m'dears". The whole museum is packed with beautiful items, pictures, silverware and furniture. The Maltese guide on the top floor was just as keen to give us information and I found the personal touch was much better than having the audio guide. A really lovely little museum with great staff.
