The bay is very pretty with the colourful Luzzu boats. We didn't go on a Sunday, so we didin't visit the fishmarket. But there was still a small market along the water selling the usual range of souvenirs. For the rest it was very quiet and paceful, just as we like it. We arrived around 10 am when the fishermen were cleaning up their boats and drying their fishnets. After a walk around the bay and taking many pictures, we picked a restaurant for a nice seafood lunch.
You can get to Marsaxlokk easily from Valletta by bus.
