When in Malta be sure to add this to must visits. Wonderfull relax along the sea front and enjoy a nice cool beer with a nice fish lunch.

A cute little village on the sea, the Sunday market was just ok... we were there during Carnival week, so the entertainment was fun (kids dance schools and nice music). The market itself doesn't have much to offer, except some cheap shoes/clothes, some souvenirs, and great looking seafood and fish tourists can do nothing but look at :-) Took some nice pics of the colorful fishing boats... Took the bus to/from Valletta.

Strolling along the small seafront, shopping from the local market (particularly for fish) or simply stopping at one of the many small family-run restaurants in the village makes Marsaxlokk a favorite village for both locals and tourists. Definitely worth a visit. Marsaxlook kept its traditional view with its colourful fishing boats and best cooked food on the island.

We used public transport (bus) to visit Marsaxlokk. We dined al fresco on fish facing the bay with colorful fishing boats bobbing in the bay. It is worth a visit especially if you like fresh fish. We spent several hours there.

We hopped off here on the city sightseeing bus route. We stayed for a couple of hours.
It was lovely to walk around the bay, the colourful fishing boats where the main attraction.
We went here on a Thursday, there was about 5 market stalls along the front, selling mainly food products, souvenirs and lace.
There are lots of places to eat and plenty of fresh seafood on offer..
We popped into to the 'Southeast Restaurant' which is a modern cafe, and has reviews on trip advisor
