We booked this chambre d'hote based on the comments from previous guests and we were not disappointed. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel at home by Sabine and Jean-Francois. We were two couples and both rooms offered were extremely comfortable and large and a nice touch not often found in France were the kettles and coffee and tea in the rooms. The evening meal was a resounding success with everything home made including some of the drinks served with courses such as pommeau and calvados. Attention is paid to guests in seating arrangements around the large table and if you can't speak French Sabine and Jean-Francois are extremely good at explaining things in English. We had a particularly enjoyable evening with the other guests who came from Denmark, Belgium and France. The breakfast is indeed not to be missed and when you enter the room the table is laden with all manner of breads, croissants, jams yoghurt etc. If we return we would definitely try the gypsy caravans - something we think Eric would enjoy !
