Very good restaurant, the menu is slightly different to a lot of the other restaurants on the island, which is good. Food was excellent, one thing is not to over order as the portions are large and we left quite a bit.

However this time the reviews let us down, it was rated number 1 in the area, this I feel is a tad exaggerated. The food was ok without being great, the wine list was in my opinion quite poor. Atmosphere was non existent, service was adequate, not fast or slow, but it felt like we were being a burden by being there. The venue seems to be confused, it does not seem to know if it is a bar, a restaurant or a night club. Having said all that it certainly is not the worst restaurant but there are much better ones on the island.

Can totally see why this is number one in Xaghra. Eight of us went for our 25th Wedding Anniversary as part of a holiday in Gozo. Service and food was excellent, couldn't finish the main due to the size of the portions and we all fancy ourselves as big eaters. I had rabbit livers for starters and they could have been a main. They gave us a 'doggy bag' for a fillet steak that someone couldn't manage which we ate the next day and it was still fabulous. Staff were very friendly and never stopped, was particularly busy though. Seen some disappointment on other reviews about the terrace, but we sat out there on a very hot night and it was lovely the view of Malarsforn was spectacular. We only told them as we were leaving that it was our anniversary and they gave us a bottle of lemon cello to take with us. Had a lovely evening and would not hesitate to recommend.

My wife and I had a superb meal at Pulitos in Xaghra Gozo in On June 15th 2012. First of all the view from the window table was stunning looking down through the valley. The service was without criticism, the staff were lovely not overly attentive and informative. The food itself was of excellent quality. The rabbit livers were exquisite as was the goat kid, my wife had a beautiful venison carpaccio and a quail in a chilly marinade. The sauce was too sweet for my wife but she said the quail itself was beautiful. We probably were too early at 7.30 as the locals eat out later about 1000 pm which was why it was quiet, we would definitely go back , excellent.
