We stopped here after going round the citadel and were in urgent need of refreshments. The atmosphere is quite remarkable- something of a Parisian cafe set inside an ancient Maltese limestone building, right on the central market square. The range of food choices was varied and wide, so there would be something for everyone. We had a club sandwich and a traditional Maltese fish pie (Lampuki Pie) and both were lovely and reasonably priced.
The walls are adorned with a multitude of prints and pictures (all of which are for sale) and next door is their deli, which is stuffed with gorgeous goodies. Well worth a visit.
