Never have I been to a hotel where the staff were so hospitable. I was impressed at how accommodating and nice the staff were. There is nothing to criticise, and these are the highlights of the stay:

1. The room was good, large and the bed was very comfortable
2. A complimentary coffee machine was available throughout the stay, where one could take hot water, coffee, hot chocolate, espresso lungo, ect
3. Fruit and deserts were also complimentary
4. The continental breakfast was very good and there was a vast choice of food, from scrambled eggs, to cereals, juices, hot drinks, bread and a variety of deserts.
5. The staff accommodated my request for gluten free food.
6. Staff were extremely polite and treated us like family.
7. The NYE dinner was very good.

In short, this might be a 3 star hotel, but the whole experience is stellar.

Very personalised attention and care over throughout by the staff. Service with a big genuine smile. Close to all beach amenities and beatiful views without paying any extra additional costs.

Must say keep it up and keep on with that approach as it can really attract families and customers who look after spending some nice relaxing time in the beatiful Island of Gozo.

Il-Plajja hotel has an excellent location as it is situated beside the Marsalforn promenade. There is ample parking spaces available in the vicinity.

Il-Plajja hotel has been recently refurbished and is under the management of an Italian staff who strive hard to make your stay as pleasant as much as possible. The owner Marcello is hands on helping his staff and ensuring that everything is sorted out if any problem arises. I could not make the tv work and Marcello replaced the tv set as fast as he could.

The Hotel offers a basic but adequate intercontinental breakfast comprising of fruit, cereals, orange juices, milk, different types of ham and cheese, boiled and scrambled eggs, tomatoes, cakes and doughnuts. There is also a machine where you can make capuccino, espresso, hot chocolate, free of charge.

The Hotel offers free wi-fi to all its clients, tea and coffee making facilities. (These are niceties that sometimes I did not find not even in a four star hotel in Malta). The bedroom was spacious with comfortable mattress and an en suite which is on the smaller side comprising of a toilet, wash hand basin and shower facilities.

Would certainly recommend to my friends and will visit again in the near future. Prosit to Marcello and all his staff.

The staff are really nice and helpful. On our checkout they kept the breakfast station open an hour extra just for us. There are plenty of restaurants and bars close by. The room has everything you need and on our arrival he switched on the ac an hour before so that the room will be already cool once we arrive. Will definitely come back

We spent 3 nights at Plajja Hotel - the staff were very friendly and eager to help. Unfortunately only one receptionist could speak Maltese/English, our main host could only speak Italian; thankfully we still managed to communicate. Our room was clean and spacious (apart from the tiny bathroom). Breakfast was good; not a massive selection, but enough to satisfy both sweet & savoury tastebuds. However it was always fresh & tasty. The location was stupendous, the bus stop was a stone throw away, as were the restaurants and beaches. Such an affordable pleasant stay!
