Excellent meal in lovely surroundings. Genial host and great service. We have been going to Gozo since 1996 and I wish we had discovered this restaurant before now! We will most definitely visit again.

Tonight we were blessed to eat at Salvinas in Gharb. Not only is Gharb one of the most delightful villages in Gozo, this restuarnt beats any other similar sized restaurant that we have visited on this island in the last few years. The menu is carefully chosen - not too many dishes, but thoughtfully put together. For the first time in a long time food arrived HOT and freshly cooked to order - wonderful. I had home made soup followed by Chicken Cacciatore (cooked to my own taste), my husband had garlic mushrooms (whch he described as 'wonderful') followed byChicken Cordon Bleu, Drew also started with garlic mushrooms, then had a huge swordfish steak with Sauce Basilico (a diving creamy-basil concoction) and Reece had quail followed by beef stronganoff. Thee tray of vegetables that accompnaied our main courses was again brought piing hot. (I get disappointed when my food is not hot - somehow for me that spoils the meal, so I was very impressed that all of our main courses came at the same time and the vegetables were served alongside - no waiting while things got cold). Desserts didn't let us down either with the best choice of desserts we've been offered so far. They have a top notch wine list with excellent local wines, and the service too is excellent, attentive but not intrusive. The restaurant itself was very pleasant - we were seated in an atrium area surrounded by palms and geraniums - a pleasant inside/outdoor area. We will definitely go back again, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone - try this place - you won't be disappointed!

came across this restaurant by happy accident driving back from Wield Il-Mielah. Stopped for a light lunch. Nice food, great service and a lovely courtyard seating area bedecked with bougainvillaea.

We were staying at the Kempinski and found this restaurant by accident. It takes 10 minutes to walk on the road to Ta'Pinu. We sat is a little courtyard covered in geraniums. The food was very tasty and well presented. The wines were of good Maltese selection. We had a wonderful meal here - pity we found it on our last night.
