Stayed on business 2 nights, March 3rd & 4th , was given the family room to myself at no extra charge, very comfy, great bed(s), very clean & fresh, teas, coffees, biscuits, hot chocolate, bottled waters large wall mounted TV, immaculate bathroom. Very friendly staff & locals, fantastic range of real ales and ciders, great food with fresh local ingredients - will most certainly head there for all future business trips in the area - to use part of the 'Ginsters' slogan 'Good, & Honest' - highly recommemded! :-)

Having booked a room at the last minute going on the reviews I had read on trip advisor, I have to admit I didn't think they could all be true. The room we had (room 11) was beyond our expectations 10/10 for everything it was clean, very well equipped with plenty of space. Having spent nearly twice as much to stay at the Marriot in Bristol the next night. The room at the Tudor arms was far better!! We dined in the pub and both had a great meal along with the large selection of real ales. Fantastic place with a real traditional country pub feel to it. Also must add that my full English breakfast was quite possibly one of the best I've ever had. We will DEFINITELY be back!!

Lovely place to stay for a night away.
Great for a overnight stay, while visiting Slimbridge nature reserve for two days.
Nature reserve well recommended. Room very good and clean.
Restaurant and B&B very well recommended. Staff very helpful.
Will return next year.

This is a lovely place to spend a few days. Great for birding at the Wildlife and wetlands trust which is a five minute walk down the road. We stayed for six nights. The room was very spacious and the bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was spotless with a strong shower over the Bath. We enjoyed meals in the bar each evening which has a very friendly atmosphere and very good cider and perry.

Breakfast was also very good. My only complaint was the lack of decaf coffee, each morning I had to ask them to make me some instant coffee which they were very willing to do but a few sachet with the various bags of tea would have been good, this was also an issue in the bedroom. Wher they gave me some coffe out of a jar when I asked.

Would we stay there again absolutely. On our last day we even when back for lunch having walk round the wetland centre because it was much better value and quality than the reserve offered.

If you plan to stay in the area look no further. I agree with all the 5 star comments, you really couldn't wish for better accommodation, We stayed for two nights, eating in the restaurant both evenings. Our room (no 12) was on the first floor, an L shaped room with an extremely comfortable king size bed and two 2 seater settees, one of which was perfectly placed to view the large, flat screen TV. I am extremely fussy about cleanliness and the room and lovely warm ensuite bathroom met my high standards. It was also very quiet. The evening meals were well cooked with generous portions. My husband had a full English breakfast both mornings which kept him going all day! It was cooked to order and we didn't think the wait was at all excessive. The staff were all friendly and helpful. It is perfectly situated for the wetland centre which is a short walk along the road and also the canal is just on the doorstep. We could quite happily have spent longer here.

We usually stay here after visiting WWT Slimbridge, and this was our third time of staying and still found the 'Tudor' as good as ever. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Evening meal good, and the beer, as always, good.
