Although it rained every day ( Dec 29 to Jan 3) there was enough to visit within 15 miles to more than satisfy. Bath and Wells were both brilliant.
The place was very warm even in December, we were 11 persons including children and there was more than adequate accommodation.
Only negative was indaquate hot water supply in kitchen, otherwise terrific.

The church is a fantastic - and unusual - place to stay in rural North Somerset. When you walk through the big church doors for the first time your jaw really does drop. The amazing stone hallway (complete with gargoyle) leads into the main living room which is a beautiful space for relaxing. The bedrooms are comfortable and tastefully decorated and the kitchen/diner is pleasant and well equipped. What really strikes you is the amazing quality of the conversion - the place retains all the features that make it an atmospheric church, but somehow manages to be a comfortable home as well.
Craig could not have been a more attentive owner. Thanks so much!

Really loved this place and the only one in the area that fitted our group of 9 people at a reasonable price. Very well decorated and tastefully converted. Great heating system which made the whole place warm despite the lofty ceiling. Large farmhouse style kitchen diner. Beds very comfortable except the sofa bed. Mattresses on the floor for extra people were really comfortable. Old churchyard with gravestones creates an interesting surrounds.
Explored Wells cathedral and Cheddar gorge.
I would love to find a reason to return here!

Thank you so much!! Craig was so accommodating with all of our requests, and made it really easy and relaxing, which is just what we wanted!
We had a great time, and it was fine for our friends with a three year old as well as everyone else. All the rooms were clean, comfy and had everything we needed, including the kitchen which had what we needed and was well stocked with equipment etc. Can't think of anything to improve, except maybe getting a bigger freezer (for ice)! Wifi/ heating/ parking/ hot water etc were all good so everyone was happy. There are some lovely places to walk nearby (and a shop) and its really quiet, I don't think we saw anyone else around!
Thank you - we'll be back (hopefully!)

As we entered this church we found a warm and inviting residence..what an excellent renovation. There were numerous couches for easy lounging, a large well equipped eat in kitchen. All the bedrooms were clean and comfortable..and they were real bedrooms, not that easy to create in a church. It was perfect for our mini family reunion of 7 persons.
We would not hesitate to recommend this house for other guests. Absolutely wonderful!
We booked the church for a welcome back gathering for friends who had been travelling as well as a 30th birthday.People came from London, Derby, Bristol and wales all of which thoroughly enjoyed this church. Craig was so helpful with booking, communication and information. He was very accommodating. When we arrived, we were stunned at how beautiful and grand it was. It was an amazing space for the large group and we were well catered for. The Garden had wild garlic that we cooked with (to add to the already wholesome weekend). Inside the church and the grounds were very clean. We got the deposit back within three weeks and we will definately be returning.
Thank you craig and staff for all of it :)

We are very happy with the house. Craig is professional, considerate and very prompt in his communication. The house is respectfully converted, spotless, and we were greeted by welcoming flowers and hotel grade linens. It is also surprisingly warm for the size of the house.
We enjoyed the board games, book collections - my favourite was the fabulous coffee table book "The earth from the air". It is also quite central for us to take day trips to Bath, Glastonbury, Wells and Cheddar.
