Yallumbee is a holiday rental located at the beautiful Seal Rocks about 40km south of Forster. Access is via a relatively narrow but sealed road from "The Lakes Way" , the last 2 kilometres being quite breath taking as you see the Pacific Ocean and No.1 beach before travelling a little further to Yallumbee at the southern end of No.2 beach (Boat Beach).
Yallumbee offers spectacular scenery from every room and terrific views of the many small beach's to the north. Furnishings are adequate with a well appointed kitchen area although appliances could do with updating. All rooms are quite spacious, 2 of the bedrooms with queen size beds and the 3rd with 3 x double bunks (Bring your own linen). Kitchen and dining area large enough with seating for 8.
A short walk from accommodation and you are on the beach. Great for surfing (not patrolled though), fishing, walking or just relaxing in the sun. The beach is suitable for young and old and popular at low tide for walks around the exposed rocks. The area is frequented by skin diving groups lured by the many rocky outcrops and abundant marine life (Porpoises, small sting rays, bream, whiting etc)
Short 10 minute walk to the Seal Rocks lighthouse through the National park is a must.
Boat beach yallumbee house was on top of the eastern side and a short walk to the beach. The views were amazing. We had 7 people stay and the 2 bedrooms upstairs had fantastic views. Living area spacious. One lounge arm was ripped, and could've had a television in the open living area. The television was in a sitting room with a sofa. The kition was well equipped, and the outside BBQ was under cover. Views breath taking. The downstairs bedroom had 3 bunk beds. There was a septic smell when you first walk in. We had a fantastic time.
