Following a recommendation of a friend, we (my wife, myself and our 3 year) decided to book a short stay in Maison Josephine. And I can say that we were all were totally blown away by the whole experience and that just writing a review simply can't do the place justice. Everything was just what was needed to help the 3 of us feel relaxed, with Gwen and Paul going out of their way if they thought anything was lacking (of which nothing was!)
The B&B itself has been decorated to an top standard and it is an excellent base to experience some of the real local France lifestyle.
We are already planning another break there next year and are looking forward to it! See you soon.

Myself and my wife stayed in Maison Josephine in Sept 2013. We had only planned on staying for a couple of nights but in the end we extended it to a full week. The accomodation is beautiful with everything you could possibly need. Paul and Gwen are fantastic hosts. Nothing is too much trouble, and their Franco-Irish background means you get the best of both worlds. Thank you for a wonderful holiday. We will definitely return.

Having two small children it is often a challenge to find good family accommodation and as part of our summer holiday in the South of France we found a hidden gem. Paul and Gwen have created a magnificent B&B, with great hospitality to match. We are looking forward to next trip already.

We stayed for 2 nights, a perfect place to unwind after a long journey. A family run place where you are made feel welcome. We spent most of the first day by the pool, dined Al fresco family style with guests from Belgium and Spain. The next day we rented some bicycles from Paul and Gwen and took a picnic along the Canal du Midi. We didn't get to Carcassonne this trip, but definitely next time.

Room Tip: Rooms are all individually designed, take a look at the website. we chose the Marie room.

Had a great stay at Masion Josephine and Paul and Gwen made us feel so welcome. The rooms are large and well decorated and offer all the facilities you could need. We were also lucky enough to share a meal with the owners and other guests, which gave the whole stay the feeling of being part of one big happy family. I will definitely be going back in the future.

Room Tip: Friendly and inviting.

We had a really great stay with Paul and Gwen and their really super hospitality. We have 2 children (8 & 4) and they thoroughly enjoyed their stay. The house is great and there are lots of things to do nearby. Most of all the food was outstanding. If you need somewhere to stay for a break in this part of France then look no further.
