Group of 4 spent 5 nights at the camp, they offered us an all-inclusive (breakfast, lunch, dinner) custom adventure, with mixed rafting & hiking. The hospitality and professionalism was upper class, including our 3-day personal guide Dejan from Bosnia - a real treat!

Prices were very reasonable compared to other camps and communication was very good.

Would do it again and again! Thanks Tarasport!

Spent 2 days at Tarasport, a lovely relaxed centre only 10 mins over the border, friendly staff, new clean accommodation huts (bring your own towels), plentiful local food (if you are vegetarian let them know as it’s very meat heavy), lovely new rafting equipment and friendly guides, beautiful location for horse riding and nice docile horses (we are beginners)

We had such an amazing time with TaraSport! Starting from first contact via email to the farewells we had a lovely time - the staff is friendly and helpful and the tours are fun to do. We did rafting and canyoning - rafting was quite enjoyable being aware that it is the end of the season and the water level is low, which is why we plan on returning some other time in May! And the canyoning... We had the nicest guides and not only was the tour stellar, but the drive to the location was unbelievable - the mountains, sun peeking between the clouds... Just amazing! We love going on active holidays and this was one of the best thanks to this team! We are definitely recommending Outdoor Resort TaraSport - the food was great and the new camp is beautiful, the tours are well planned and you really meet the nature and the staff and guides are there to make you feel welcome

Family of 4, kids aged 12 and 15.
If you go here stay at base camp - everything starts from here or stay in Montenegro and meet up with the team there. The border is a pain to cross and all the activities we did was across at least 1 border.

Rafting - beautiful but not very wild. The river is low so it’s a gentle 3 hour float in August, rather than the wild April/may images they have on website. Bring a bit of cash, you stop off for a drink. It finishes right at the bottom of the camp.

Jeep safari - we started at 10ish and wasn't home till 8pm. It was great scenery - we got to drive the jeep and sit on the roof. Good fun. Bring your own water as there is nowhere to stop and get some. They provide a decent lunch which you can have wherever you want.
We were in green jeep. Lights didn’t work, breaks was iffy and the seats didn’t snap into place so a bit of a death trap really.... perhaps a new jeep would be a good idea?!? We survived though so no harm done and we had a brilliant time.

Zip lining. Wow do it - but make sure you are comfortable in your harness (boys especially). It’s a long line and you got to keep legs up to make it to the end

Canyoning- longest day we had. Started off at 10am and was back at camp at 10pm (we did spend about 1 -1 1/2 hour at the border though )
This started 2 hours away from camp! Soooooo again, make sure you bring at least 2-3 1/2 litre bottles of water per person.
Bring a spare set of dry underwear. There is a place to change and bring money- you will have lunch after canyoning and you will need to buy your drinks. Also bring your memory stick as you can get the video downloaded here.
Once you are in your kit, make sure to bring your water. It is a 3 hour canyoning trip followed by a steep uphill 45 min walk back to the car. You will need a drink so I suggest 1/2 litre water per person.
We had a brilliant day, it was a bit cold but nothing too bad.

Food was great, if you don’t like it they will provide you something else if you ask.
Prices for tea, coffee and tea was a bit steep. 1.10 euro for a teabag and 3 euro for a large beer.
Bring your own tea and coffee (and chocolate) and just ask for boiling water.

Accommodate is basic, bit cramped if there are 4 of you, but you’ll just sleep there so it’s fine.
Everything is new built so no issues with that at all.
Bring towels as these are not provided.

To sum up Tara rafting- they are great but too far away from their activities.

Those times when a really good experience get absolutely distroyed by the worts tour guide ever.
Please, you, the guide with the black bear and Nicola's colleague, you should give a think the way you are treating your customers.
Angry faces, 0 conversation, no comments regarding the background/activity, 0 team building, all time saying "easy forward", "stop", etc. To sum up, this trip with a different guide would have been so much better.

Dear, we thank you for your feedback and feel sorry about your experience. We have three guides who wear beards (Nikola, Gavro and Miko), but both that you might be referring to are usually full of laughs and our returning guests ask for them specifically. Both have been a part of our company for years and even though the guide might have been a bit quiet that day, the most important part of their job is to ensure safety of all guests. We completely agree that communication with guests is also very important and we will tell the guides to leave their love problems at home. We would still love it if you'd come and visit us next time so you can personally hear Gavro's contagious laughter and Miko's genius jokes, to make a better impression.
Kind regards,
Jelena

We had a two night stay in August with our two children - aged 9 and 7. What a fantastic place. Communication was excellent, the cabins are comfortable. Food was fantastic- and they catered really well for my daughter’s allergies. But best of all was the rafting which we all loved. Brilliant fun even for younger children. The jeep safari and ziplining was great too - amazing, not to be missed views. We’d absolutely love to come back!
