The staff is so very friendly and knowledgable. They ensure to pay attention during the ride all the time...even put me in front of the line so that the other riders, who weren't experienced, horses would follow my horses lead. The horses are very tamed and sweet and most of the tour is just a walk on the beach in a single file line until the last 5 minutes when you get to "tolt" gail. My horse Blaer (think liar and put a B in front of it) but as I am an experienced rider, the staff placed me on Blaer knowing I'd be fine.

Would have liked to be able to experience a bit more, rather than being in a single file line, especially taking into account the group that I was with (no fault of Vik Horse Adventures), but all in all it was a nice lovely relaxing ride.

We had such a wonderful and memorable time with the black sand riding tour. The staff were incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgable. I felt safe the entire time and had fun meeting and taking pictures with the horses in the stable. An added bonus was cuddling with Pumba! The ride on the beach was the right amount of time and we were able to take photos on the beach. It was fun!
