We had a lovely stay at this hotel. They are super helpful and informative, the room was large and very clean. Huge bed! It’s well located for Black Beach and for getting out and about.

Lovely fresh breakfast buffet but note no dinners being served. Nice places to eat in Vik down the road.

Highly recommend a tour of the ice caves with Johann who is knowledgable, engaging and made a brilliant trip for us.

We stayed here for one night. It was amazing! Our room was very spacious. We had a huge bed, sofa, large desk, beautiful bathroom and lots of open area in the room. Everything was spotlessly clean. The gentleman who registered us was super helpful, even going out in the rain when our car alarm kept going off. The breakfast this morning was fabulous! Definitely a great place to stay!

Room tip: Room 7 is awesome!

We went with Jóhann on a Jeep excursion to the Katla caves - he was kind enough to take us last minute and with our young son. We went hiking over a glacier and in through the caves - it was an incredible experience. Jóhann was very knowledgeable and kade the trip so interesting - it was wonderful. Recommend to anyone thinking of doing a trip like this!

We only stayed here for one night. It’s outside of vik and near the black beach side that is not so crowded and only 10 mins up the street. We stopped at a grocery in vik prior to getting here cause we knew it was 15-20 away to the nearest restaurant. We grabbed something and made a smoked salmon over a simple arugula salad and ate in the breakfast room with a nice Chardonnay. The staff was very helpful and kind. Rooms were clean, comfortable and breakfast very nice.

We stayed one night and had a good stay. The room was very spacious and the bed was one of the most comfortable we slept in during our travels in Iceland. A breakfast buffet was included and there was plenty of food to choose from. My only recommendation to the hotel would be to get some screens for the windows as the bugs are attracted to the lights in the room at night and they fly in through the windows we left open to get some air circulation.
