Great sides ESP the French fries, mozzarella sticks, and onion rings. Beautiful location By the volcanic beach.

Well worth the visit, the view to the East (towards Reynisfjara) and West are amazing. Plenty of fulmars and puffins to keep you company.

Suggested location for seeing Puffins in the morning, and we weren't disappointed. The gull population is also photogenic! The access is by 4WD track, but would be OK with 2WD when dry, or walking from the car park at the bottom.
There is conservation work being done to bring some of the cliff edge back from over exposure to many feet.
Views are good, but many open cliff edges probably not good for children, unless tethered.

It's a bumpy road but not a long drive. Easy to miss the turn if you don't have a gps.
You can walk around the lighthouse and see the arch in the water. Beautiful!

It was definitely a nice place to stop while in Vik. But beware the lighthouse access road is a one vehicle road with a steep grade. But the views are worth the drive!
