“Beautiful setting”
Reviewed February 4, 2014

We ate here in January 2014 and the food and ambience was excellent. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the service was slow at times. I would highly recommend this restaurant for the food and setting but suggest getting there when they open for dinner before they get too busy. The view from the restaurant was amazing and the restaurant moves in a circular pattern so you get a different scene as you dine.

“Amazing views, a must for anyone staying in Reykjavik”
Reviewed January 20, 2014

My husband and I had a lovely meal here on Saturday night, the service was a little quick for our tastes (4 courses in 45 mins) but the food was delicious, and the wine taster perfect. The live piano player really added to the atmosphere too. The waitresses are really friendly, without being imposing.
Cabs queue outside the front entrance, so no need to worry about getting home too.

“Nice food service needs to improve ”
Reviewed January 18, 2014 via mobile

The restaurant is beautiful, views are amazing! however we ordered only a main course even then it took over an hour for us to get our food. The chicken was delicious however the service is very poor despite having 4 waiter/waitresses to try and catch their attention was a mission! We asked for the bill which then took another 20min to get! They need to learn to smile! Improve on the service!

“4 Course Meal with an Amazing View.”
Reviewed January 15, 2014

My family and I were invited to go to Perlan on the last night of our Trip to Iceland. The food was amazing. There are no other words to describe it. Definitely the best restaurant I have ever been to. The service was also impeccable. We will definitely come again next time we visit Iceland.

“The best of the best and comes with a view.”
Reviewed January 15, 2014

Went to the Pearl early this month with my family. We had a four course meal, some had lamb as a main course but I had fish. It did not matter what came out of that kitchen, it was cooked to perfection. In addition the presentation of the food was so nice and the service was superb. The icing on the cake is the view from this revolving restaurant. I will stop there again when going to Iceland.
