Overall it was a good one-night stay at this hotel. The best perk was the free parking ramp underneath the hotel, which saved us time and money in Reykjavik. Staff was friendly and helpful. Biggest downfall was the temperature in our room-it was SO hot. No AC and only one tiny window opened, so it was super hot in the room all day.

Very conveniently situated this is a really nice property to stay at. Staff are extremely helpful. The breakfast is sumptuous. It is minutes from key attractions. Underground parking is free. Loved our stay here

We stayed here on the last night of our trip. Hotel itself was lovely. Friendly staff, great brunch buffet in the morning and they also had water/snacks out during the day. Was a bit off the beaten path but still very easy to walk to everything (e.g. the church was like a 7-minute walk). The room itself was just a bit eh. Ours was a bit dirty and the bathrooms didn't come with any shampoo/conditioner. Towels were a bit starchy but the bed was comfortable. The room itself was just super hot and even with the window open, still sweating a lot.

It’s a few blocks off the Main Street but easily walkable to sights. Room small but comfortable beds and pillows. No closets but lots of hangars and wall hooks. Only 1 small window so room was a bit warm. Room faced back so was quiet. Breakfast plentiful starting at 7 AM. Wish we didn’t have to rush before our flight.

Started an Iceland tour in Reykjavik and stayed two nights at Skuggi. It is a clean and well maintained hotel that is in a good location for restaurants and shopping. The bathroom, while clean was very poorly lit. The included breakfast was satisfactory. Paulina at the front desk was terrific in terms of restaurant recommendations. The room was small; typical of European hotels of this level. This is a decent choice considering very little time is spent in the hotel.
