The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. Our Delux room was a decent size, spotless and the beds were very comfortable. As were had a car the free parking was perfect. We had dinner in the restaurant 2 nights, had fish and it was lovely. Hot tub soaks were great. Like all travellers you want to pay the lowest price possible. Given the overall experience in this hotel, it's location and the general feel in the hotel I don't think the price we paid was too bad.

This was my families first time in Iceland and Centerhotel Midgardur added to a great trip. The location was walking distance from most points of interest in the city and also close to a bus stop and taxi stand.The room was clean and comfortable and the spa was a great feature. There was nothing more relaxing than soaking in the hot tub after a long day of adventure in and around Reykjavik, All the food at breakfast buffet and dinner in the restaurant was delicious. However, the greatest plus to the hotel was the staff. They all were super friendly and helpful. They always took the time to answer questions, make recommendations, book trips, make dinner reservations. I wish I could remember all their names to mention them here. One that did stand out was Pedro. He was one of most helpful people I have ever met on holiday. We will definitely stay at Centerhotel Midardur when we return to Iceland, which we hope will be soon.

Rooms were spacious and clean with both shower and bath facilities. Staff friendly and efficient. Breakfast buffet was delicious and generous. Positioned on Laugavegur the hotel was close to the main shopping areas and to my daily trips to the old harbour and the Harpa centre.
