Before we came to Iceland from Texas, I read about Happy World and decided to book the Northern Lights & stargazing tour with them. We were in Iceland with a group bus tour of 32 people and I didn't trust having adequate opportunity to see the lights. I also had read that taking pictures of the lights is hard - so Happy World was the solution.
They hunt out the best location for each night and don't just go to the same spot every time. We moved around to different spots on our tour. You can just relax and enjoy the light show, while they are taking professional quality pictures of what you are seeing. They even take pictures of the Northern Lights with you in the picture. By the following day they email you a link to download whatever pictures you want.
Thruster was VERY knowledgeable about the lights and the stars, and moon. While waiting for the lights, they bring a telescope and show you lots of stars and constellations. Some of these pics and close up of the moon were included with our pics also. It is so obvious how much Thruster loves what he is doing and he is so friendly, it is like being out with a friend. He wasn't watching his watch to be finished with us and take back to the hotel - but offered to wait a while longer if we wanted to see if more lights were coming.
They give you hot chocolate and a pastry to warm you up. Also, their vehicle has a heater that works without the engine running and so you can get in and out of it, whenever you need to warm up.
It is a small group with up to 7 people in a vehicle - we had 2 vehicles.
Not only the guides are great, but also a big thanks to Anita. I chatted with her online and asked questions both before we left Texas and after we got here. She responds almost immediately and is also very friendly.
I can't say enough good things about them .. so try them and see for yourself. You won't be disappointed
