This is a standard-quality Hilton hotel: room are very clean, well furnished, with adeguate and spacious bathroom. Breakfast is really very good, but some people from the restaurant staff are really unkind and unpolite. The hotel is located 30-40 minutes by walk far from the city centre, but you can take the complimentary bus. IT offer a PC with free internet connection (located in the lobby). Price: I payed for 1 night for 1 double room in B&B accomodation ISK 26.000.

My husband and I stayed at the Hilton Reykjavik Nordics to start our honeymoon. The room was nice, though pretty basic. The hotel decor was nice and relaxing to come back to after a long day of traveling! The location is on the outskirts of the city center, and while we didn't mind the 15 minute walk to the center in the midnight sun, it was pretty deserted and I wouldn't have felt comfortable if I had been alone. We had breakfast our first morning and then found out that it was nearly $45 per person! We opted to buy some breakfast food at the supermarket for the next few mornings!

Very nice hotel, caters to folks on business/conference, but pretty hip. Only complaint is the bar staff who provided no service at a non-busy time of the evening. We were completely ignored and had to stand at the bar for over 20 min instead of being served at the table. The only other thing is that it is not walking distance to central part of town but they do offer a limited running shuttle service. Since parking down town is not recommended we had to take a cab.

A very comfortable place to stay. A bit of a walk to downtown, so evening options for restaurants a further than ideal, but the position is good for beautiful views of the sea and mountains. Staff are friendly and efficient. Breakfasts are delicious.

Room Tip: Sea views are beautiful.

Had a great stay at the Hilton during our holiday in Iceland. Pleasant staff, great breakfast and a lovely hot shower. The hotel is in a great location, there is a lovely view of the harbour from the rooms on the front of the hotel. There are about 5 restaurants within 5 mins walk if you don't fancy the 15 min walk into reykjavik. There is a free bus into the town centre but it doesn't go very often so we never tried it out, it is a pleasant walk anyway so it makes no difference.

Room Tip: Get a room on the front overlooking the harbour rather then overlooking the car park at the rear.
