Far better breakfast than our hotel - very very nice.
Surrounding are old, and kept that way - although appearing to be in need if fixing up it did not detract from the atmosphere or the food.
We really wanted to make a return visit but ran out of time.

Went here with my girlfriend, both had burgers which were massive yet tasty (quantity and quality) nice beers, very helpful down to earth staff which allows for easy dining! Highly recommend if your looking for filling food for a reasonable price.

I was intrigued by the menu which includes a lot of references to Pulp Fiction. For me it had to be "The Big Kahuna Burger and the Five Dollar Shake". The burger was HUGE and outstanding quality. As to the shake, pretty much the best shake in town! All this in one of the oldest establishments in Reykjavik, go on, treat yourself.

The oldest coffee shop in Reykjavik looks a bit dark and grungy form the outside. However inside the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The decor looks as if it hasn't been changed from the 1950s and adds to the laid back atmosphere. You can sit at the bar, window booths or go upstairs to another eating/drinking area. Its a great place to get a beer, coffee or basic eats (homemade burgers, chicken, fish + puddings) while listing to chilled out music. The bar staff (especially Jeff) work really hard to make you welcome and look after you. Well worth a visit
