Went to the seafood buffet last Saturday. Food and service was good and attentive. We returned on Tuesday night as it was my birthday, there were only two girls serving and three large groups booked in just after we arrived so they were rushed off their feet. We were advised to have the buffet as ' the kitchen is very busy so you will have a long wait'. Slightly disappointing although we did enjoy the food. Fairly expensive, around £80 for two.

We dropped by on a glorious sunny lunchtime and sat outside for a glass of wine.....which turned into several plus the 2 course lunch. We had excellent broccoli soup followed by a delicious open chicken sandwich/salad. All beautifully presented. Excellent, friendly service. And how wonderful it was to sit outside all afternoon (rugs are supplied if you need them). I think we started a trend as the outdoor area remained full all afternoon. We visited Monday March 25

We went on Thursday 21 March and picked the seafood buffet with a bottle of wine. It was excellent, with a wonderful range of seafood, and a sweet included. Staff friendly and chatty. We recommend this whole-heartedly for a good evening meal. One comment - DON'T eat whale! Very few Icelanders eat it, but tourists think they ought to while they are there, and it greatly adds to the killing. Go whale watching instead!

Just managed to get the last table on a Friday night with a sign outside advertising a "seafood buffet". There was plenty of seafood but also lamb and beef on offer. No idea what some of the dishes were but all were lovely. Well presented and plenty of flavour. Even tried whale meat and enjoyed it. Service friendly and efficient. First experience of Icelandic food and hospitality, and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Our spontaneous visit to this restaurant turned out great! Lovely food and nice service! I tried the salmon with scallops, that is truly a winning concept!
