Great place, very busy (unremarkably, as the food was excellent). We were lucky enough to get a walk in table but would strongly recommend booking as many were turned away after us.
Lobster soup wonderful, catch of the day was oven baked ling, glorious; my husband had spinach and ricotta ravioli with walnuts and bacon, delicious. Chablis chilled to perfection. Pricey, but worth every Krona!

At first I felt guilty heading right to an Italian restaurant for dinner on our very first night in Iceland but since this was our third week of travel we were just in need for some good ol’ pasta. What a great decision! The service was fantastic, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and relaxing. Nothing else you can ask for in a dining experience!

After reading a number of reviews we went looking for this place. Staff was friendly, service was good and the food was excellent. The seafood pasta was well supplied with a variety of seafood. The house wine was also quite decent.

We´ve been to this restaurant twice so far on our trip to Reykjavik. The staff are very friendly and attentive and there is a nice atmosphere to the place. We tried pizza and spaghetti carbonara and both were excellent. They let us have a smaller portion of the carbonara for our nine year old as he was bored with childrens menus.

Would not be suprised if we return again before we leave Iceland.

I have been to this place several times in the past years. Perhaps not especially because of the food, but because of the cosy and relaxed atmosphere, relaxed but good service. I have both come with family for lunch or dinner or friends for dinner and longer evenings.

It is great to seat by the window on the street floor and watch people walk by. The second floor is more relaxing, for example with groups of friends. On Friday and Saturday evenings there is often excellent classical guitar player, playing Spanish guitar standards quite well.

The food gives no surprises but it is good and not expensive. It has Italian menu but also with some classical Icelandic courses. My favorite are the pasta dishes and the fish, but people with me often have some of the excellent pizzas. The only complaint I have heard is that there is too little selection of vegetarian dishes and they should offer more.
