My wife and I were put up in this hotel because of an Icelandair problem. Three cheers for Icelandair for choosing this hotel for us. First and most importantly to us is cleanliness, Hotel Alda gets a solid 5 star in that regard. The desk staff were all excellent. We were given the 4th floor, deluxe king, with private balcony. Would recommend that room in a heartbeat. Location, breakfast and on-site restaurant get another 5 stars. No problems, no complaints, loved this hotel. Since we did not pay out of pocket for this stay, we cannot comment on price/value.
