This hotel is in the heart of the city and within walking distance of most amenities. This was a budget priced and tired feeling place both from reception and the room we occupied.. Breakfast was included and of a good standard.

Room was basic but super clean.
Staff was wonderful and breakfast was very good !!
Would recommend or stay there again for sure.
Bus stop is right out front which is also super handy and excursion buses will pick you up there.

Room tip: I requested a 'quiet' room.

We stayed here for one night.
The room was clean and the breakfast was good, very friendly staff that was helpful and always smiling.
When we arrived at the airport we took the bus, but it took a long time driving around to all hotels, about 2 and a half hour.
We took a taxi to airport from the hotel
120 €

This place was reasonable as far as price. The room was a nice size for three people. There is shared bathrooms for some rooms. Some room have a bathroom inside the room. We thought if there was three people to a room. You would get a bathroom but we did not. It takes some getting use to. By day two I had gotten use to it. You also have to get use to the sulphur in the water. There is another upside to this hotel. The free breakfast every day. Also Xavier who works at the front desk. He is very knowledgeable about Reykjavik. He shows you all the great spots around town.

Room tip: Some rooms are near the busy street.

Very spacious and clean Triple room on the 2nd Floor. Reception
located on the ground floor, all rooms start at the 1st floor. Hotel
situated on Laugavegur leading to the walking street of the same
name, ideal for shopping, where you can find shops and restaurants
plus Hallgrímskirkja Church on the side street. Our room has 3
heaters and is the corner room. Bathroom, a bit small, is equipped
with a shower cabinet. Water here in Iceland, smells of sulphur
which is good for bathing but not drinking. A bottle of drinking
water is 300-400 ISK. The Vietnamese restaurant is just around
the corner of the same hotel building. The supermarket 10to11,
restaurants, shops are just near by. Salmon, Trout, Cod & Plaice
menu can be found easily. Despite the traffic at the crossroads,
we did have a good night’s sleep for the whole stay. Coffee Tea
are offered for free at the reception till late at night. Bus stops for
all tours and for hotel pickup/drop off are just around the corner.
Tours can be arranged for hotels guests.Everything is so
convenient staying here.

We had one more room which was a twin bedroom,
no window, with shared bathroom on the 4th floor as one
of us had an extension stay. This was the only type of
room available at the time. All rooms here on the 4th floor
without ensuite bathroom. This floor is nice and clean.
Shared bathroom is okay, I found no problem. Laundry
was located on this floor too.

Room tip: Corner room
