Put in wrong room, bad smell that got worse, smelt like human waste. Changed rooms next day housekeeping ignored do not disturb sign and put dirty bloody sheets on the bed. Left window open and tried to charge us for items that we had sitting on desk above mini bar. The night guy that worked kept apologizing for the sheets gave us drink vouchers for the hotel bar. The restaurant did not take off bill told my husband since you have already paid for them maybe easier to just drink 2 beers. Housekeeping is slamming doors and hollering down the halls at 7 in the morning. Smoke alarm goes off if open the door while taking a shower and other people's hair in the drain when checking in.

I was booked into this property by my travel tour company. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are small-ish and basic, but clean and totally acceptable. The included breakfast buffet has chaffing dishes of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, and oatmeal, plus there are lots of other choices: breads, cereals, fruits, sweets, juices, coffee, etc.

Very central near Harpa, lovely bar and restaurant and spa. The view from our room was wonderful though the rooms were a little small and the beds and pillows were very uncomfortable. 3.5 stars in total.

Arriving after a 10 hour delay at Bristol Airport did not help the situation. The weather was bad even for iceland!! Took the option of a taxi even though the airport bus is a good service, we just wanted to get to the Hotel. On arrival front of house was good and we were in time for an evening meal. The room was on the 7th floor facing seaward. The room was warm and comfortable. we used the restaurant twice more and found it to be good and quite reasonable considering Icelandic prices. Wifi was fine and staff helpful. Rooftop bar would be a bonus in the summer. But darkness and snow curtailed our views a little!!! All in all hotel was fine.

Hotel is located 5 mins walk from city centre and is within walking distance from restaurants nd bars.room was of good size and very clean as was bathroom.breakfast was good with variety.room had tea and coffee making facilities and had complimentary bottles of water each day.our room was on an upper floor was warm and had lovely view of the bay. Bus stop 5 was just outside hotel and grayline coaches goes directly to airport and is main collection point for all excursions.staff were 5 star rating and were so helpful and friendly.hotel was good value and played a big part in making our trip to Iceland very enjoyable although the only thing was Reykjavik is so expensive. Excellent trip.
