And my first cronut! Friendly attentive staff and a welcoming atmosphere. Wish we could have stayed in Reykjavik longer so I could sample more of their fare.

“Authentic Cuisine (IMO)”
Reviewed March 23, 2014

This is a lovely restaurant, the waiting staff were extremely attentive and did their best to describe the food as i had no idea what was what (apart from the Ramen).
The 'KFC' or Koren Fire Chicken was the tastiest thing i have eaten in a very long time - not overly spicy (but had a kick!) and made you want more and more - a shame there were only 4 but then i was sharing them!
I opted for the Ramen and it was truly excellent, just tasty throughout and seemed to be a popular choice amongst the Brits in there. Too full for dessert but was the right choice to prepare for hunting the elusive Northern Lights later that night.
A pint of Tuborg Classic (delicious!), a Coke, one starter and 2 mains came to £45. When in Reykjavik...

“Not as great as the reviews”
Reviewed March 21, 2014

Visiting from Canada, read all the reviews and decided to go. Not as great as everyone thinks, all 3 of us decided the food was average and the prices were average (2000 krona for an appetizer and 3000-4000 krona for main courses). The hostess was a bit rude because we didn't make a reservation but our server was friendly. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here again.
