Everything was terrible in this hotel: unpleasant and rude owner, dirty room and bathroom, dirty sheets covered in stains of blood, ugly building... My wife cried the whole afternoon after arriving there as the owner refused to give us back our money, and we even considered to find another hotel, but everything was full as it was peak-season.
If you travel only once in Reykjavik, pay a bit more and get a better room for your stay! Such an bad hotel can really ruin your stay in Island. Turism board of Island should have a look on this kind of places.
