We had a magnificent -- and memorable -- meal at the restaurant at Hotel Borg and couldn't have been more impressed. We went with the nine-course chef's tasting menu and everything was fabulous, from appetizer to dessert. Can't remember all the details but small plates included a sort of salmon ceviche (out of this world) and another kind of grilled salmon and an amazing roast lamb. Dessert was some sort of carrot cake topped with a sorbet. Service was attentive and professional. Can't believe this isn't rated as one of the city's best. It certainly was the best of the many places we dined in Reykjavik!
