This place is located just under Mt Esja. It is a very popular hiking mountain in Iceland near Reykjavik. We have visited this restarurant twice and have taken in the soup of the day. Just the thing after a hike up and down the mountain. The soup is homemade with recent warm homemade bread. There are other items on the blackboard but we have only done the soup. They have a large outside patio which is very nice during the summer. The owners are the cooks, servers, casher and tourist information for the local area. The prices are a bit high on some things but soup of the day is about right. This is a very out in the country style place but it is fun.
