“A nice place for a quick bite”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 31, 2013

We stopped here on our last day in Reykjavik. It was very reasonably priced and the food was very good. The lobster soup is delicious. Also, their prices on beer and wine are fairly low compared to the area so it is a great place to stop for a quick lunch or an afternoon snack!

“Nice little cafe”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 27, 2013

We went here for lunch on a chilly Saturday afternoon to warm up with the soup of the day and a cup of tea. The soup was served with some very nice bread, and for the price in Reykjavik it was a good sized portion. The tea was raspberry and at first we were put off by this as it wasn't what we were expecting but it was the nicest tea I had in Iceland. There isn't a lot a choice but it's clean, modern and reasonably priced.

“Good value”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 25, 2013

Friendly service & nice big portions of hot food. Just what you need on a cold night. There wasn't a big choice, but we both enjoyed what we had. A cheap & cheerful option in the heart of the Old Town.

“Not your best choice”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 4, 2013

So, the food here isn't actually bad, it just wasn't really all that good either. Very limited menu, consisting of meatballs and lamb. I ordered the hawaiian lamb, which was just lamb with a pineapple ring and some herbed butter. My husband ordered the lamb special, which just had a gravy with it. So, they were the same dish with a different accompaniment. I never thought I would eat lamb with butter.
