We were in Reykjavik for three nights and dined at Snaps on the first night. The menu was not particularly extensive but there was something to whet everyone's appetite in our party of four. When the food arrived I was in a culinary paradise and made various noises to that effect. On the second night we trawled the restaurants of Reykjavik for ages to find somewhere different but decided to return to Snaps as we had enjoyed the food so much the night before. We had the same table and the food was as delicious as we remembered from the previous night. On the third night, our friends were celebrating their wedding anniversary and so we returned to Snaps (same table again) for more guaranteed good food. The staff were very friendly and we didn't feel rushed. The price was reasonable compared to many of the other restaurants that we looked at and the atmosphere was very relaxing. We didn't book but I think we were very lucky to get a table each time we went as it was busy every night.
