Spent 4 nights as part of a city break. The hotel is in the old harbour area of the city and about 200m from the heart of Reykjavik. Room was small but perfectly adequate and the bed very comfy. Breakfast was good as were the evening meals we tried. Staff very polite and friendly. The down side could be 2 trawlers parked just outside on the harbour slip way but it really added to the character of the hotel and summed up the city. Reykjavik is small, compact and friendly.
People say it is expensive to eat and drink and maybe it is compared to a village pub. Compared to say London or Manchester its not too bad. 100 for food and a few beers for 2 people.
