Except the shape of the church and the grant pipe organ, there is not much to see inside. However, the 75-meter-tall observation tower is the place to go - great view to see the whole city of Reykjavik! You won't regret. But, choose a less windy day, as up there the wind can blow your camera away.
The statue of Leif Ericson in front of the church is something you should know about.
There is no fee to visit the church, but it costs 700.- ISK to take the lift to the observation tower.
For normal days, the church opens from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, unless there are special services or holidays. Check with the tourist information center or your hotel before heading it.
